At the start we clarify what actually matters:

Scope and deposit are handled upfront.

Depending on the project, I may ask targeted questions or request reference material to establish a clear baseline.

The goal is shared understanding.

From brief to draft

I review your materials, do the necessary research, and flag issues that won’t translate – linguistically, culturally, or under German-market scrutiny. For thought-leadership I may interview your subject-matter experts.

 

  • For longer or complex projects, I may propose an outline or direction first. 
  • For translations or defined deliverables, I work directly toward a finished version.
  • For transcreation, the approach depends on the brief and constraints.

Review and sign-off

You receive a version that reflects the direction we agreed on earlier.

At this stage, feedback is about substance.

Because the groundwork was done upfront, revisions tend to be focused and contained. We adjust what needs adjusting. Nothing more.

Before final delivery, I do a last pass to check:

  • consistency across the material
  • clarity and precision
  • tone and voice
  • resilience under German-market scrutiny

Once that’s done, the content is ready: deliberate and defensible.
